Amy Adams vs. Isla Fisher

Okay, so at first I felt embarrassed to admit it, that is, the fact that I was getting very confused as to who the girl in Wedding Crashers was if it was not Amy Adams, who was in Enchanted. I thought "Oh, the lady who played the crazy girl in Wedding Crashers and is having Ali G's baby is in Enchanted? Weird." But then I was watching Lifetime tonight, as I am oft to do late at night because from 1-2am they have Golden Girls on, that they had a commercial for a movie preview special with the stars of the new movie "Possibly, Maybe" and I realized that that was NOT Amy Adams. So, yeah, I looked them up and tried to get it straight.

I still think they really look terribly similar and imagine there are TONS of people in the same position I am in that are getting confused. As it is, I have learned that the "Wedding Crashers girl" is Isla Fisher, and she is the one having Sascha Cohen's kid. She also has brown eyes, while Amy Adams has blue eyes. This is the main difference I can see, sadly. I still think they could easily play twins in a movie convincingly. They're as similar to me as a lot of twins are. But of course, that might just be me, as I was reading some forum that was discussing the same thing and people kept commenting "they look nothing alike to me! Totally different features!" and I admit, I was shocked. I thought perhaps I was just thinking they looked alike because of the red hair, but I think the similarities go way beyond that, but yes, if one was blonde or something, I probably never would have thought they were similar, but at the same time, there are tons of redhaired actresses I never would have confused either of them with, so that can't be ALL it is.

Anyway, you judge for yourself.

Until you posted this, I thought that Amy Adams was the crazy girl in the Wedding Crashers. I think I even told Steve that when we went to see Enchanted. Huh. Well, you're not the only one. :)

Yeah, I did the same thing. When I saw Enchanted I remember leaning over to Travis and saying "that's the girl from Wedding Crashers, remember?" and he was like "oh yeah!", hah.

the only huge difference i can notice in them, is their eye color. One is blue, the other brown. Thats really it. They look similar in every other way . Soooo sad that there isn't that much diversity between them.

Well, it's not like they can help it. But it does suck for their careers because fans and probably even directors and the like won't know which one they liked or whatever. But they both seem like good actresses.
