good television
My schedule is so off that I am basically up all night these days and sleeping all day, it's not good. It has afforded me the pleasure to watching some very early morning children's programing though. I've watched a number of episodes of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, which is really creepy in many ways, but I do so love Henrietta Kitty cat, meow meow. I also watched Sesame Street. Wow, that is such a great show. I am a graduate student and I was still never bored watching them discuss the letter B and the number 3, and I was smiling and laughing often, that's good TV. Of course, I do have a tendency to like the things I did as a child still today. But i also watched an episode of the Teletubbies, and let me tell you, I couldn't sit through that for more than 5 minutes because it was annoying....Sesame Street all the way. They did a rendition of Fiddler on the Roof's "If I Were a Rich Man" except it was "If I were the letter B"...and there were sheep twirling, it was so much fun.
My new goal is to catch myself up with Veronica Mars so I can start watching it when it airs. I got into Buffy too late and only was able to watch the last 7 episodes when they aired, so I'd like to try to do better with Veronica. I am about to watch the season finale of season 2 now, and then I will either download the first few episodes of season 3 from iTunes and then watch the last few on the Veronica Mars website, OR, Travis will download the season for me and bring it when he visits next weekend. Either way, a winner is me!
EDIT: Oh my god...Veronica Mars season finales are so crazy. How can a mystery that has lasted the whole season all be solved with someone you never suspected all in one evening, so many weird plot twists.
