I may not be a good cook, but I make do.

Man. I am so not a cook, but it's hard to tell by the dinner I made tonight. That's a good feeling. You can make some pretty tasty stuff not from scratch, hah. My mom always used to make this meal and it was a favorite of mine, so I thought I'd try to make do, try to make something like it. She used to keep frozen raviolis in the freezer and cook some, and bake some breaded chicken and then top both with marinara sauce. I found some "boil and serve" raviolis...made shake and bake chicken, and got some "heat and serve" already in a microwaveable container marinara sauce and in 20 minutes...pure tastiness. I may not be a friggin chef, but I can make a few tasty meals, thankyouverymuch.

So, I got so tired last night that I was only able to write about a sentence of my mid-term before I had to give in and go to bed. Today at work I wrote out some notes on what to write about, which helped. So I got home today and was able to crank out a page or 2 with no effort. I am trying to get as much done before 8pm as possible so I can watch last night's Daily Show, then at 9pm, Lost, and 10pm Project Runaway, and 11pm, tonight's Daily Show. Such a busy TV night.

I also talked to Aleks (we took advantage of iChat's voice feature because she's out of daytime minutes), it was very interesting. We talked for over an hour that way, got caught up on each other's Valentine's Days. Nice, indeed.
