Right, but that is what high maintenance SHOULD mean. I mean, these are people that are about 20 years old, they're not talking about marriage, and anyway, since when these days are men the sole bread-winners? Not as often. So it seems like it really shouldn't matter UNLESS it's the whole "she's going to make me late all the time because of her and her love of the curling iron". I just think high maintenance is partly an attitude (those who like rhinestones on everything and buy pillows and sweatpants that say "princess" come to mind) and that how many shoes they have or the size of their cosmetics bin really says nothing about this attitude.
