Little Orphan Annie
Feb. 4th, 2006 10:41 pmI am watching Annie right now. I haven't seen it in years and years. When I was little my mom took me to see this movie and I loved it. I loved that it was my name (my family calls me Annie, anyone else calling me that sounds foreign and I typically don't think they're talking to me). I went as Annie for Halloween one year, I had the Annie dolls (all since lost other than Punjab, and I think even he is missing his head. I had the lunchbox too. I had a little plastic locket from the movie too that said Annie, and somewhere there is a tape of a 3 year old Anne singing "Tomorrow".
Rooster and his girlfriend scared me so much, I thought they were the worst people ever. I still don't like Bernadette Peters because of her role in this movie, I never forgave her. I couldn't believe those people would actually try to kill her. The scene on the train bridge terrified me.
It's weird watching it again so many years later.
In other news...still sick, but I think I am slowly getting better. Sara invited me to see Brokeback Mountain tonight but I said I couldn't. Later she called back and said they're going tomorrow instead. Let's hope by then I feel better.
