Oh, the places my mind goes when lying in bed...

If I had a music blog I think I would call it "Viola Spiderwood".

Shoes

Today my parents and I went to Parkersburg, WV to A) have lunch at Rax, as they have not existed in Pennsylvania for like 15 years and B) to go to the mall and look for sandals for me. I have awful feet...afwul in that I cannot find shoes for them. They're small, they're wide, and they have a very high bridge. We went to so many stores, I tried on so many shoes I couldn't tell what felt bad and what was just left over hurt from the other shoes I had tried on. Finally went made a discovery....Merrell shoes. I had never heard of the brand, but my mom was like "oh yeah, Merrell, of course!"...they're sort of weird looking shoes, but I basically wanted sandals with support that I could wear all day in Disney World. Well, these went on my foot and felt like were made for it, they were great. So we got a pair, the only pair they had in my size and they had just come in that day, so I lucked out. They're really great. My feet are so hard to find sandals for (winter shoes are easier because you wear socks under them and then things don't rub) that it was like a jackpot to find ones that were so comfortable...sooo, I will probably buy more of these shoes in the future.

In 20 minutes my parents and I are heading out to get Mexican food and then we're camping down in their hotel room to watch the Oscars, yay Jon Stewart!
