Last night on my weekly patrol of my favorite music blogs I came across a link to Nina Persson covering "Losing My Religion"...awesome! So then I was wondering if Nina was putting out another solo album or something (as her A Camp album is quite good) and so I did a google search on her. I found out that the R.E.M. cover was for a Danish movie that her husband (Nathan Larson) is doing the music for, and that song will appear on the soundtrack. Then I came across a link for Nina covering "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground" and it said it was done for a Swedish movie she is starring in. I watched the trailer for it, she looks so cool, absolutely right out of the 60s...and so beautiful. What is spoken is mostly in Swedish, but still worth checking out, and it uses the White Stripes cover in it.
