I so rarely ever even hear the music that's popular. Sometimes I READ about it, but hearing it is different. I hear everyone complaining about how overplayed that James Blunt song is....I have yet to hear it.

But here I sit with VH1 on and the top 20 videos of the day or something like that comes on...
I just saw and heard Pink's "Stupid Girls" for the first time.

Part of me thinks "It's great that something like that can be so popular". Despite it being kind of a silly blah song, it's about girls having goals and not being superficial sex objects.

But really, stupid girls don't know they're stupid girls...so they're gonna be singing along thinking it's someone else OR they will know it is referring to people like themselves and simply think it's funny or cute that they're like that.

It's sad.

I saw part of the video for it, as it was in the countdown, but at that point I had the TV on mute. I did here one of my classmate's rendition of it the other day when he was making fun of it in class though. He said there are basically only about 3 lines in the song and he keeps repeating them.
