I have gone on a Music Blog binge this weekend.

Things I have discovered:

Tori is working on a new album which she plans on being NOTHING like The Beekeeper. (Oh, praise be).

The Raconteurs. How the FUCK did I not know that Jack White and Brendan Benson were putting out an album together? I was able to find at least 3 tracks from the newly leaked album to download. Me likey.

Some of my favorite pseudo-Christian musicians (pseudo in that they make it known they're Christian and occasionally write songs about their views, but generally just make good music), Sufjan Stevens, Rosie Thomas and Denison Witmer, are collaborating for an album. Not only that, but apparently Sufjan and Rosie are collaborating on more than an album if you know what I mean, because they're having a baby. Even good little Christian musicians are gettin' it on, who knew!
(EDIT: My friend joeleo has informed me that this is all but a prank from Ms. Thomas, oh those silly musicians.)

Christian music? HA, there a couple bands, but my favorite is Skillet. They are Christian Rock, OOOOH YEAH!! Lets hope they never collaborate with anyone, heh cause rock is supposed to be angsty :-p

I met Denison Whitmore and got his autograph. He was opening for another band in Brooklyn- now I forget who. Anyway, he was cool, and my boyfriend wanted to use one of his songs in his movie (which is a doc.). I don't think that Whitmore's people got back to him, although he got permission to use a pretty popular orchestral song that was on West Wing. But I still like some of Denison's songs.
