It was one of my favorite books as a child...
The Bridge to Terabithia.

It's about time they made it into a movie.
Though, I admit, I don't remember it being nearly so adventuresome and mythical, I remember it more about the friendship and growing up, but yes, also about adventure and imagination...oh well. I'll definitely need to see it.

I really want to see Pan's Labyrinth too, but I have no idea when it might get all the way to Athens, or if it ever will...perhaps a trip to Columbus will be in order.

There is an old movie version of Bridge to Terabithia, but it was pretty bad. Hopefully the new one will be better. I imagine it will be.

I didn't know there was an old version...but yeah, the trailer for the new one looks like they went all out.

I recently saw the trailer and you're right - it appears they injected more fantasy into the movie than actually existed in the story. Hopefully it will be good though.
